Hypnotherapy

How can Hypnotherapy help me?

Hypnotherapy can assist you in all facets of your life. May people associate it with addictive behaviours such as quitting smoking, nail biting and weight management issues. It is a great tool for these things, but it can be successfully used for far broader issues. Pam often uses it (with your permission) as a powerful tool in conjunction with Soul Focused Psychotherapy. It can help to alleviate anxiety, stress, bullying, relationship difficulties, grief, death and dying, anger, guilt, blaming, sadness, depression, health problems, sexual issues, self-esteem and many other challenging life issues.

Pam does not have any power over you with Hypnotherapy; she is helping you tap into your own power. She cannot make you do anything against your own will. There is an important distinction here. Some clients assume that Pam is “magically curing them” or that she is responsible for altering their behaviours, whereas she is actually responsible for assisting them to find their own inner power. She will assist you to access your subconscious mind and reprogram limiting or false beliefs with positive life-affirming beliefs that you will personally create. The responsibility for this is with you; Pam is here to assist you to facilitate your goals.

What are your current limiting beliefs? What do you ache to do if only you had the courage, money, opportunity, time, support or energy? Do you seek a career change, new love, a geographical shift, or better relationships with people? Your life is how you choose to see it. You frequently experience what you believe and what you expect. Pam has heard people say, “I knew that would happen!” when a situation has occurred as predicted.  If you put enough mental energy into a belief, good or bad, you WILL create it. The subconscious is THAT powerful. You can learn to utilise this for positive growth.  It is life changing.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Repetitive thoughts and ideas are stored in the subconscious mind as truths and form the core beliefs about who we are and how we behave in the world. Sometimes these beliefs and thoughts are negative, deeply flawed / untrue, but if they remain unidentified, they can control our lives. Hypnosis accesses the subconscious mind and provides an opportunity to identify these negative beliefs, challenge them and replace them with healthier, more life-sustaining ones. You remain in full control during hypnosis and can stop at any time if you wish. Pam’s role is to help you access your subconscious to change disempowering thoughts and ideas that are limiting you in some way.

Most people have experienced a type of self-hypnosis or trance in their daily lives. If you have ever driven to a location and then realized that you have no memory of the trip, you have experienced the trance state. If you have ever tried to get the attention of someone engrossed in the television, knowing that they are not really with you, you are witnessing a type of hypnotic trance. It’s a common state. The easiest way to describe how it feels is simple: deeply relaxed.

Clients’ Testimonials

After smoking for more than 20 years I have decided it was time to quit. I have not chosen to quit to save money but instead to improve my quality of life. I was referred onto Pam Allen via my chiropractor and am glad to have received the referral. Pam was very professional and helpful throughout the entire experience, guiding me gently through the process. Thanks to Pam Allen I have remained smoke free for 4 months now and don’t envisage smoking ever again. Thank you.

After going to see Pam to stop smoking, I have found it easy not to smoke, I sometimes get a thought, urge to smoke, but I dismiss it straight away. It has been 4 months now and I have more energy, can breathe clearer and easier. I gave up smoking for health reasons, I can’t believe how Pam has made being smoke free so easy to do. My Dad passed away 3 weeks ago and this didn’t even make me smoke again. Thank you Pam.
